An Optimal Damping Design of Virtual Synchronous Generators for Transient Stability Enhancement

چکیده

A transient damping method (TDM), introducing the frequency of a virtual synchronous generator through high-pass filter (HPF) to power reference, is usually adopted stabilize system against disturbances. However, different from small-signal stability perspective, this letter reveals that gain HPF should not be too large due issues. Thus, an optimal parameter design TDM proposed for improvement stability. The experimental results validate theoretical findings.
